Turned my modem on and off and got new IP address.

Hi,

I turned my modem on and off and it showed a new IP address. I use an ADSL modem connected to a router.

Get My IP Address - Lookup IP, Change IP, Hide IP, Trace IP, and more...

My questions are:-

1)Is turning my modem on and off enough to not allow Ebay to use my IP address to track me?

2)Can they tell what country i am in by my IP address, i am in china now.

1) EBay will always use your ip address to link you, that's the whole reason to change your ip address, you can't hide it from eBay.

2) Yes, they can.
