paypal echecks

hey can somebody please help me out. I have a pending echeck on a deal i got for $300, this was an off ebay deal. I promised the buyer fast shipping and that they will recieve it in 2 days, from talking to the buyer on the phone they seem trustworthy, my dliemma is this, i want to ship before the check clears , i am almost sure it will clear but is it possible for a buyer to cancel an echeck payment?

not worth the risk..politely explain to the customer that you must have the "check" clear just like a bank. i had my paypal acct since it first opened and a guy backed out on a $800+ item and called paypal and cancelled his e-check. i didnt get screwed, i just lost out on a $400 profit margin.

I NEVER ship a e-check item before the e-check clears.

Trust me anyone can sound trust worthy. You can ship it and the person may not have enough fund in their bank account to cover it and it wont follow through and you will be screwed because paypal tells you to not ship til its cleared.
