Default Notification from Paypal

I just got a notification from Paypal

"You 've reached a limit for how much you can send, receive or transfer. See how to lift a limits"

I check my limit and I still have 400 to withdraw to my bank
Note that I have not added a credit/debit card yet

Should I worry about this notification?

-Thanks

Hi, I also receive this kind of notification from paypal though my account is verified and have been using it for years without problems.
Just a few hours ago, I have receive this notification when I logged in on their page, though I have closed it and still able to send a payment. But this nag window still pops up every time I logged. Strange thing...

First, be sure these are genuine emails coming from PayPal. I get dozens of phony ones.

Whenever I receive an email allegedly from PayPal, I log into PayPal using my browser and NOT by clicking any links in the email. If there is an issue with your account, PayPal will show that issue in your account.

If it is real, then you should probably do what they ask. Is the old credit card expired? Did you add one in the first place? If not, you should probably add a VCC or a Gift Card if it is a stealth account.

It is easy enough to do and only costs a few dollars. Why take the chance by not complying with their request?

I got an email as well from PP, and it was not actually from PP. It was a scam. It even tells you to log into your PP but then it gives you a link lower in the email. ALWAYS ALWAYS ALWAYS go to PP.

DO NOT click links. This was a 100% scam!

As stated by someone before - its not an email, its a notification that pops up AFTER you log into your paypal account and every time you go to the account overview.

I've been seeing this on some of my accounts. Two that don't have VBA's and one that has everything. The last one I find strange - I have a vba and a confirmed cc but it keeps saying that I need to link and confirm a cc. Its strange, the cc expires 4/17 so in seven months. All of those accounts are over a year old.
Of course I'm going to add what is needed, but its strange that it was a non issue until now.

Same problem on two of my accounts. I tried a mock transfer and it let me through until the last step before hitting "Confirm" (to transfer)

Same problem here.
I was able to send money though.
Mine is VBA with no VCC, do the others here who got this message have a VCC on their account too?

When it comes to VCC it seems they want to do it the micro deposit way. Vanilla Visa gift card worked fine for that. ...Actually instantly. I added the zip to the VV before adding it to Paypal but it went right to the deposit. Logging in to check the VV maybe a minute max after and the 4 digit # was already on the 'statement'

so far so good.
...now just to add the VBAs to the other accounts with the notification.

So...the notification stopped showing up on the two accounts I hadn't added a bank account to. I most likely will still do it, but I noticed it last night and it seems rather interesting. Its been business as usual either way.
Anyone else notice this?

This gift card thing, anyone know if there is a UK version or if it or is as much of a US thing as it seems to be on here, never really see much if any discussion about them from UK contributors
