Default Hello From Chicagoland!

Just tripped across your site, and have been nothing less than astounded by what I've been reading... I mean, a GOOD astounded!

I was suspended from ebay many, many years ago for shill bidding. It was a stupid mistake I made when I didn't think ebay was a big deal. We are talking back over 10 years ago. I did this knowing that it was against ebay rules, but thought there was no harm in it, thinking that if people are willing to pay, then there's no problem. Well, I got suspended.. and it was a permanent suspension.

I've started many new accounts over the years, but all have been suspended after a short period of time. I tried starting another new account with a new bank and phone number, but it got suspended within 6 hours, which was a record!

Here's my story... I truly regret screwing up on my first ebay account. I really do. I wish I could go back in time and prevent myself from shill bidding. I wish I could go to ebay and apologize and pay any kind of penalty for them to allow me to simply go back on ebay selling. Alas, that is not an option. Ebay sends you to an eternal "ebay hell" where there is no chance of redemption.

So, here I am. I found this site, and I now have a glimmering hope of obtaining redemption and being freed from ebay hell. I am so happy I found you guys.

Anyway, that's about it. Thanks for giving me hope once again.

Welcome to the forums and good luck with stealth!

Sometimes, eBay IS forgiving about old suspensions. But sometimes not, and there is no rhyme or reason as to why some people are able to get their accounts back while others are not. At least not that we have been able to determine.

Stealth is the answer. I highly recommend the stealth guide as it lays out everything in step-by-step detail. I don't benefit financially if you decide to buy it, I am not the owner of the forum. I'm just saying this because it helped me when I was starting out. I tried it on my own first and lost 2 accounts. I was discouraged and almost gave up. But then I figured I would buy the guide since it was not very expensive. I immediately saw my errors. I now have several accounts and am doing very well on eBay and Amazon.

More than possible to get back up and running on eBay in no time.

Have a read of the stealth guide then try to spend a few days reading the forum.

123 is very good and services are reliable. I have a couple of accounts from that seller also that are still going strong.

Change passwords to protect yourself and operate with normal stealth practices to maintain a stable account.

Well, I am a new born baby to stealth. I have no clue how to do it, or how to maintain it. I guess I have a lot of reading to do!

And, yeah... I will not be shill bidding anymore. I don't need to. I just want to operate an honest ebay business. I screwed up once when I didn't realize the value in having an ebay account. Since then I've come to discover that ebay is the largest platform in town and nothing out there beats it, at least in my experience. I've certainly learned my lesson and will treat this new account like gold.

I noticed that many of you have SEVERAL ebay accounts. Why? If you have a good stealth account, and you are operating above board with your sales and customers, why would you need a second or third (or 50 for some people!) ebay and/or paypal account? Am I missing something?

Default 123 Order

As I said, I purchased the complete package.. ebay/paypal, etc., from the user "123", and am really excited about starting again.

I sent payment to him via Dwolla way back on September 3rd and still haven't received anything. Is it normal for it to take this long? Just curious. I'm sure it's just a matter of him being busy, but thought I would ask.

I received my order from 123 today.

Dang... there's a lot of information to consume. I am a bit scared of making a mistake and screwing this up, but here goes...

Thanks, 123, for setting this up for me. Hopefully this will be the beginning of a new chance for me.
