eBay issue £500 refund before buyer returns item
A case was opened by buyer as the product they bought wasn't what they expected. Even though it was fully working and accurately described and that they had been using it for over a month, well past my returns policy of 14 days.
I refused a return, as usual case gets escalated and ebay decide in buyers favour and say they have asked the buyer to return the item within 14 days for a full refund. 3 days later buyer has not attempted to return yet or uploaded tracking information. this morning ebay closed the case and give them a full refund.
What's that all about? surely that's against the law. can anyone offer any advice please before I call them up tomorrow. Thanks
