Shorter list of what's not good to start with.....any designer brand..ie...Gucci, Louis V., Rolex, etc. ANY electronics...including phones. Anything Virtual, things that you don't actually UPS or send thru the USPS. IMO, Stay away from all that.

I've had good luck with junk jewelry and cheap women's accessories to start off accounts. Never had a problem. Just put up a nice pic, and 1 or 2 line description and you are good to go.

Household items are worth considering. Try to avoid anything expensive or overly popular or high in demand - 3 things you dont want when choosing an item to sell in the long run, but just to get things going you should consider following this principal. Just so you dont have ebay leering at you.

Chinese jewellery as in branded foo-foos or just made in China? I would assume the later, but I don't like to assume.

Stuff from the dollar tree bought for $1.00 can easily sell for $4 or $5.

I always like getting rid of old books and stuff around the house. Even if I take a little loss with shipping it is worth it for the feedback.

Avoid that.

The items are replicas.

Poor quality.

Will you drop ship too?

Ideas have been given - you can be suspended from eBay at any time but chances are less
