Re: How to be in the first results page after the search
It not something eBay share.
It has to do with your defects, your feedback, how long you have been selling, your keywords, postage speed and price, picture quality, item price, other sellers, how long your item has left to run, how many items you have sold... ect ect.
You will need to play around with all of these to get to the top of the results.
Re: How to be in the first results page after the search
If anyone on this forum knew exactly.....they would not bother telling you! and Ebay is much less helpful in this type of issue, so take JamesNorth101 advice.
Re: How to be in the first results page after the search
I found that a great way was the title description and of course feedback and reputation. For the title description Terapeak really helped finesse that and I got much better results. You should check them out, I think they offer a pretty good service.
Re: How to be in the first results page after the search
One huge aspect is ending time. On auctions is bid activity and everything else JamesNorth101 said. Tons of ways to manipulate this system and just like MM78 stated if anyone knows they are not going to be sharing on a public forum or even private.
Re: How to be in the first results page after the search
I agree with all the above. You gotta stay on top of your account and eventually you get moved up and up. If you have a lot of one particular item, I suggest listing it as "Good Til Cancelled". This keeps all your watchers and views and ranking can usually only go up (unless you are not doing your job).
Stay away from vero and high risk. MC999 hits won't help move up, especially if you are in a saturated market (which you sound like you are)
