Default Suspect Scammers bought 3 of my Items

They are low feedback people. They look like scammers one of there names is ray web. Just looks so F@ke. Should I ship these out anyway?. Am I protected by buyer protection. What will these people do to scam me and will ebay reimburse me?. Or should I just refund and relist with a better declaimer.

why don't u go to paypal look at the payment info to see if u are protected under seller protection. ship with insurance and signature if you think they are scammers.

When I sense trouble, I refund and cancel transaction. I know it counts against me, I would rather do that than get ripped off.

I get low feedback people all the time and the only problem I have had ever is not getting paid in the 1st place. I am pretty sure it is a competitor though. Good luck!

I should also say the selling price of the item is always a consideration.

I told them to call me at my number. If they are scammers they should have accents. Sounds Nigerian or just not american.

If they sound nigerian and have low feedback The chances they are a scammer is above 97%. Turns out both were from overseas and couldn't call me. Also look for people who don't use capitals nor periods and have hacked english.

The best way is to try to call them. Pull up their phone number and speak to the person.

Hopefully it's just paranoia which is absolutely normal on eBay, but this would help you a lot.

This is not a question, but just a thought for anyone to consider.

There are def scammers on EB. But are we not more often paranoid about being scammed when we are selling questionable items ourselves. Seems like scammers are better at picking out questionable items being sold over the legit. I guess my scenario would be like the drug dealer who gets robbed. He really doesn't have anyone he can go run and tell.

This is in no way to say OP is selling questionable items. I have no clue, and I am making no assumptions on the OP (want to make that clear). But it made me think, and it seemed the proper place to post.

Hey, hate to say it but some of the worst scammers can be AMERICAN, in my experience, unfortunately, and Brits as well of course!

Maybe you have good price and they will resell this later, but never ship without signature and insurance.

That name is not suspicious. I've had someone called 'sly fox' buy one of my items before! im not even joking.

Scammers exist everywhere. Follow paypal protection if you're that worried of being scammed. Every seller should know the risks and rulesof their partners before starting business. It's asking for trouble not to.

Sounds like he flogs foo-foos

I mean let's be so biased we rule everyone out.

lets go easy here, we have already ruled out nigerians, americans, italian, english,... we are going to have one tough time selling on ebay when so many nationalities are ruled out. Lets unite, and accept the fact that some people, a very small minority, do have a tendency to scam, but the majority are good to deal with, law abiding citizens.

Of course the majority of people are good law abiding people Play, but it does no harm to rant a little every now and then about the few scamming scum that most of us will have had the misfortune to come across every once in a while!
