Default Low seller ratings/ seller level : below standard ?

Hello, on October 1st I got this email:

Has anyone else gotten this? if so, what do you do?
eBay lowered my selling limit to less than 10,000 a month and I have over $30,000 listed so I can't list anything new.

Should I call in & ask? I heard that they banned you from selling after 2 months if you don't improve.

How are you suppose to improve if you cant list more?

Suggestions?

Don't call in Moocheeme - are you able to improve your DSRs with good fast shipping and service? OR is that not possible right now...

If you can improve your DSR, then do it. Otherwise, it might be better to leave this account cool off for a while.

I'm selling car parts and I always deliver my items very fast and provide tracking within 24 hours, however, i've been getting a lot of open cases against me stating the item isn't as described. How can I prevent those? I know eBay opens a case automatically when someone is trying to contact you about it being "not as described"

Perhaps you need a more detailed description in your listings and explain EXACTLY what they are getting.. scratches and all..

Detailed descriptions help. Undersell your products condition if they are second hand.

Perhaps include a note with each item, detailing how then can contact you for support or returns. Include your phone number and email address. Maybe detail your returns policy briefly to stop customers automatically opening a case as they dont know your return policy and would rather not take the risk of you refusing.

Even detailed listings may not help since ppl don't always read the full text. just_smile has a good idea of having the customer contact using reminder/card to avoid right away opening cases
