They're a fairly popular VPN whose IPs are shared among who knows how many people at once and likely has had their IPs abused by its users. If you live in the states, you have quite a few better options to run your accounts.
If you're just going with 1 account, changing your home internet's IP is a free and straightforward method most of the time. Otherwise you can also try tethering (using your cellphone to turn it into a hotspot and connecting to its internet) or buying a dedicated dongle or hotspot to name a few options.
And it's best to stay away from Google Voice. Go with a prepaid phone - whichever the cheapest one you can find.
