For security reasons Visa and Mastercard etc have a period where the transaction is protected and verified before it reaches A to B. Unless its a same bank direct deposit. No merchants will offer an immediate payment because they wear the same processing time frame as to which ever credit card company is used. If you get your money via your merchant straight away on a credit card payment - then your merchant is fronting the money, which doesn't exist to my knowledge.

I didn't get your answer it was confusing. I want to know of a good merchant will let me process orders and I can withdraw to my bank within a day or two like paypal does without holding my funds hostage. I know alot of merchants put holds for some accounts, but I want to know of any merchants stripe, or who?

Your original question was that you wanted a merchant to process payments to your account same day?

Visa, Mastercard etc have a small processing time-frame when a payment is made - anywhere from 1-3 days.

So any merchant using these CC services have the same processing time from buyer to seller.

A merchant wouldn't pay you funds that they don't have to pay.

Stripe had about a 5 day processing time when i was using them..

That sucks having too wait a couple of days, but I guess it's better then waiting on paypal 21 days or less.

All part of having a merchant account.

They are a lot stronger than PayPal accounts so overall the extra wait is well worth it.

All merchant processors want their new clients to prove they are trustworthy.

Be careful of what one you use. Some may delay your 1st payment for one month.

Also don't forget the majority MAY have a rolling reserve for new customers - probably mentioned above but that would be your first thing to think about. Depending on the risk of your products, that rolling reserve % for new customers can vary.

You should give examples on which merchants could delay for so long for the OP.

I've used many and 5 days was the longest.

- stripe
- eway aus
- securenet

Sorry but this is the same user that said he got asked too many questions when he was being helped in abother thread.

Think it was rather kind to alert him to the potential risk of a delay for a 1st payment.

Both items can have problems.

Age of account is a big factor as to what happens.

High risk aside....merchant accounts can ask for ID and can apply rolling reserves. They do scrutinize to whom they are dealing - you can expect to be asked some documentation.
