Activity: 0% Longevity: 55% | | UK Wholesale Tips
Hello. I have been in the eBay business for roughly 5 years now selling goods from local car boots or old items from around my house, however I want to grow my profits further. I am from the UK and asking for some wholesale websites selling genuine goods. Two years ago I purchased 20 phone cases costing me £60 and when they arrived from China, I was left to discover that they were ⊗⊗⊗⊗, throwing them straight in the bin. Anyway, I am not asking for you to just tell me suppliers as everyone knows, nobody would ever do that. However if anyone could just start me off in the wholesale industry by leaving some tips and popular sites where I could possibly start at.
Many thanks, Matt.

Research and time is need to find the supplies - unlikely that people will give up their sources but best of luck.

No one is going to give up their sources for suppliers - just a waste of time posting. Use the usual sources to find product, using China as a base is a start but also locally could be your best bet as there are distributors that may deal with you.
Good luck |

Google is the best place to start.
Most cities also have a wholesale areas, may be worth spending an evening wondering around there.

Good luck | Just looking for tips mainly but going off what you're saying, are suppliers mainly off their own websites or based on others e.g Alibaba, Aliexpress, DHGate etc.

And also, would it be better to search for a brand wholesale or a specific product?

you picked the wrong product before that is all, there is nothing wrong with alot of china products if you pick the right ones. I know it sounds strange but I have gone with stuff I have ordered for myself first, you get to sample the product and decide to go for that or other products from that seller or that catagory...it is as good a place to start as any.....everyone has binned mistakes....

Those sites are chockful of knockoffs so be careful...

As stated, be aware of the likelihood of counterfeits. Make sure you do ALL your homework in regards to selling any items.
Dont rely on seeing other sellers on ebay doing the same. You dont know if their accounts might get zapped.
I would suggest using Aliexpress first. Why? You can order small amounts AND can often find a seller that takes paypal.
If that happens, use a paypal not related to an ebay account AND as a safeguard use a credit/debit card to fund the payment.
Please ask more questions if you need too. |

my problem is I find too many things i want to sell and I have to narrow down.....
like i said, some things are mistakes for whatever reason, sell them on for feedback at cost for new accounts, you will find one in a dozen lines is a gem/good seller though...
