So yesterday i was on craigslist and saw someone selling their ebay account for 3K
i had nothing to do so i replied to him and offered 1.5k
he said ok, so at first i thought it was a scam, because he mentioned he owed 335 in fees
told me it was unlimited limts account, so then i got more suspicous.
asked him y he is selling it, told me he needs money for his illness.
at then end i was like if i dont take this risk, someone else will. and i know paypal has buyer protection, so i felt a little relived
got the account, it really did have unlimited limts and had 12000 feedback from 2001
only downside was to pay the ebay fees of 335
personally i think it was a great deal, wanted to know what you guys think?

Just know that the account could get limited at any moment, even from the first listing and then you'd be out near 2k for nothing. So overall its a very risky transaction, but wish you luck.

Not a good idea IMO
Do you plan on offering PayPal as payment? If so you will not be able to add a new PayPal to the eBay account.

Yep i agree with James, you never know if his paypal account is limited etc.. which makes your account pretty worthless as there will always be a link :(

His PayPal could also get limited at any time in the future.
Either way you still cannot link a new PayPal in with the eBay.

Good luck! You may have to establish this as a business account to benefit from the limit.
All accounts can be limited or suspended including those bought from the forum. Use your stealth knowledge and you should be fine.
Until you change the passwords and security questions, the account is still uncertain.

Never ask a leading quesion like that unless you can deal with the truth of the replies. |

There is no guarantee the account will be restored after the fees are paid.
It may even have been a hacked account.
These types of accounts sometimes get the fees paid, allowed to trade, then pulled for not well defined reason later.
There's no guarantee of buyer protection with paypal even for the OP.
No, it is not a good buy.
It's an easy way out to get an account that has too high a risk of backfiring. |

Risky... especially since it is not a reputable market place for accounts??
Honestly.. you could get good accounts with good limits here...
Ask some of the sellers here around.. They could probably help if you need an account with more than usual limits.
You should not have to be paying someone elses debt or even worrying that your funds at one point will get held.
Good luck! Let us know how it goes
