Adding a new pp to existing ebay

My paypal account was recently limited, and well like usual paypal, they wont release it, but i wanted to know if i add a new paypal to my ebay, will the close it or limit it?

I was opening my own thread when I saw this pop up.

Same situation here. I am a bit frustrated as you could all imagine:


1. eBay established May 2014. Been in good standing with 100/$5000
2. Paypal funds available immediately, no pending 21 day funds
3. Connected to Ally (never had a problem)
4. Last time withdrew from Paypal was 7 days ago
5. Withdrew yesterday, left 20% funds in Paypal

and Bam...your account has been limited. Asked for utility bill, DL and SSN

I have other accounts and am contemplating removing Ally from those PP. What other course of action should I take on this account?

Cannot add a new PayPal to an eBay that has already had a PayPal limited to it. New PayPal will just get limited.

Lots and lots of posts warning against this on the forum

I would advise against this, long term its a very bad option. Just start over and create a new eBay / PayPal. If you need to sell more, open more accounts

What if the new Paypal is out of an IP that has never been used before and which is different than the eBay's IP. I heard that Paypal and eBay were parting ways to become 2 different companies?

Even if they part ways you can bet that they will still share some infomaation that will prevent new PP's being linked to old EB's
