Lol, eBay affiliates suck but if you're going to do it, I would try it under auctionads.com

oh ahah darn... well i know your like an internet guru entrepreneur so ill take your advice and forget about the ebay affiliate program. I see on your site, that you use clickbank... is it something that anybody can learn from scratch and make some decent pocket change or is it something you really already have to be skilled at. By pocket change, i mean $50-100 a day.

I know this isnt the right place to talk about, but since we are on the subject, what are your best recommendations in this type of field.

THanks... im trying to get away from ebay, or at least expand my horizons.

I totally recommend Clickbank.com. I started making $100+ a day in less then a few weeks of working with it. Though the way I made money from it, you probably wouldn't be able to do the same. The only way for it to work for you is if you create a simple website that basically gives a review for competing products under Clickbank and then sending it traffic via adwords. Basically paying less then what you're making from sales is the goal. It's how a lot of affiliate marketers do it. Profit from Clickbank is high, so this should pretty easy in most niches.

It would probably take a full day to find competing products, create the simple one page website, and setup your adwords campaigns. Start off slow and once you see you're making money from it, start to expand and repeat.

I've been crazy busy with my job lately and haven't been able to do much more then I am now with Clickbank, but once I have the time this is exactly what I'm going to do next for Clickbank.

Definitely not an affiliate program unless you have something established website wise. I would create a website in whatever niche you think is best for you, then take it from there. It's very time consuming to create a good website that attracts people. Clickbank is so oversaturated. I'd look into some of the affiliate program forums and see maybe theres something that you really like that isn't oversaturated. If you find a good idea, maybe create a blog around it.

Build a niche website? Thats the same thing that aspkin suggested except that its with a clickbank niche.

I do have one Niche that everybody wants. Now the problem is how to promote it?

Its fine to build a site, but choose a different affiliate program. Check out the affiliate program forums. Take ideas from there on what sort of site to build if you haven't.

Promotion costs money My promotion bill is soon to go through the roof lol once our brokerage site is online and our magazine advertisements start to run.

A couple other affiliate programs that are good are copeac.com, azoogleads.com, cj.com and maybe maxbounty.com. I've heard a lot of good things about these programs. The only thing is the payout is a lot lower then Clickbank.

I wasted thousands in the beginning of my web career. If I was to do it all over again, I would have used my time thinking of something else than promoting someone elses product.

It's a learning experience. The basic idea is to promote a trusted affiliate program for commission. The way you do it is different for everyone. I setup banners on sites of mine promoting products in hopes someone will buy and I will in turn get my percentage of the sale. A lot of people use per-per-click advertisements like adwords to promote products. The adsense ads you see on this forum probably have some affiliate commission attached to it, but I don't get paid for that, I get paid when someone simply clicks on an ad, not that I'm asking you to.

You should read up about it. There are tons of great forums with lots of information about these types of topics. I've been spending a lot of my time recently in the eWealth Forum talking about Clickbank, signup and start reading on the best ways to start an affiliate business. I know it's some of the easiest money I've made in a long time.
