Shipping wth Canadapost w/21 day hold

When i had a 21 day hold i would speak to to someone in the limitation department after it shows confirmation of delivery and its signed for and they would release the payment. However, recently i had an item that was signed for from Monday of last week and did my routine call to paypal and this time they told me and i quote, "I am sorry we cannot release the funds because we cannot check canada post please contact your buyer to leave feedback for the transaction." He went on to tell me that if i can provide confirmation with fedex then they would release it within 24hrs.

If you look at the policy it has a * that indicates that releasing funds after the 3 days is for US transactions that can confirm delivery with Fedex or UPS, but i never had a problem before, so perhaps they are really trying to enforce this now. So i would recommend that when you receive payment and its held and you are following through with the transaction ship that particular item with Fedex or UPS. Well, unless you want to rely on waiting for feedback from your buyer or 21 days. Luckily for me the buyer left feedback so i will be calling them again.

Yes, I am getting really pissed of now! They no longer accept canadapost tracking numbers..even though it shows delivered on it! One agent was an ass**** and he told me that they no longer accept canadapost tracking..I got paranoid and hung up the phone. I called paypal again and I got this nice lady. She released all my holds by checking the tracking number. I don't know what there problem is but Canadapost is no different then USPS in the USA.
