Amazon-Applying to sell in a grocery category ( restricted)
Hi guys
Have not posted in a while. After 1 amazon account suspension few months ago I got myself the Az Ghost and got back on. Started slowly with a completely different , non-risky item and I am now slowly introducing some of the items I used to sell but staying away from the ones I was the only one selling on previous account, for apparent reasons. I was shocked to find that when I got back on I cannot sell in the grocery category at all.
So I followed on listing in the everything else category but I guess some listings got deleted ( suppressed) and got an email from AZ stating that I will need to be approved to sell in those. While only few items got deleted, that leads me to believe they are watching me closely which is freaking me out.
I went to find out how I can apply to sell in the category and found out you need receipts etc which I do have but they are actually ones from the stores in Europe where I get my stuff and I am scared I will not be approved based on those. What is worse is that if I do not get approved then they will probably not be able to list in the everything else category ever again and they will watch me even closer knowing they did not allow me to do this. This account is my husband's so it is important that I do this right. What has your experience been with getting approved for a category.
I found some threads regarding electronics categories but this is not at all what I am after. To me, something so simple like a grocery category should be open to all as it was when I opened my first account 1 year ago. ( legit). Any light on this guys? I am scared but then I would so prefer to be able to legitimately list in the category the product belongs to.
All the best for the Holiday Season!!!
