Dear XXXXXX,
After reviewing your PayPal account, we've determined there is excessive
risk involved and would like to begin parting ways in a manner that is
least disruptive to your business.
If your account has a balance, that remaining balance will be held until
you complete the appeals steps. If you're unable to complete the appeals
process for your PayPal account, access to the account will remain limited.
As explained in our User Agreement, the money in your PayPal account
balance may be held until you provide us with a valid proof of identity and
a valid proof of address. The balance is held to cover any disputes that
may be filed against your account. If there are outstanding Buyer
Complaints or chargebacks, and you choose to refund your customers, please
log into your account and respond to each Buyer Complaint or chargeback to
resolve each issue.
To view the status of a transaction dispute:
1. Go to www.paypal.com/uk and log
in to your account.
2. Click 'Resolution Centre' on your Account Overview page.
3. In the drop down box on the Transaction Disputes page, select 'Open
Cases'.
4. Click the 'Details' link of the transaction in question to view the
status.
PayPal reserves the right to close any account reported to be involved in
possible high-risk behaviour. In the event of a dispute, PayPal will seek
to recover the funds from you by debiting your PayPal balance first and, if
there is an insufficient balance, PayPal reserves the right to collect your
debt to PayPal by any other legal means.
We appreciate your patience and understanding regarding this matter and
regret any inconvenience it may cause you.
Yours sincerely,
XXX
