Question Credit Crunch affecting YOUR sales?

Hi everyone, I'm a seller from the UK i sell via my website freshfootwear.co.uk and use ebay as my advertising source. I've noticed a considerable drop in sales since the beginning of October. Can't quite figure out if it's due to the credit crunch or not or whether it's just been one of those months.

We're in the 'consumer retail' sector which apparently has been hit hard by the economic crisis.

Is anyone else 'feeling the pinch' this month? is the credit crunch affecting your sales or is it just a load of media BS?

Would be interesting to hear from you.

I sell sports jerseys on ebay and from my website ,

I have noticed that business has been very poor in OCT .

Also the going rate for items selling via auction seems to have dropped in half.

It seems that a lot of competitors are unloading stock at below cost prices.

I hope it gets better as we get closer to Xmas.

I've been selling the same novelty items on ebay for almost 3 years. I always have a drop in sales in October. It will pick up again towards the middle of November.
