Default What to do with seller account - Need some advice

So SWIM has a seller account that has been working great lately. The feedbacks between 30-50 with 100% positive. They were selling VERO items mostly and its been a pretty good ride.

SWIM checked his feedback score to see that it has gone up one. On the page he noticed he has a new positive AND a new Neutral feedback. The Neutral said the item was a ⊗⊗⊗⊗. Thats it. But the page also shows many of the same items that have been previously sold to happy customers.

Now SWIMs not sure whether or not to dump the account, come up with a clever reply, or flush the positives page so that comments out of the first page. Theyre not too sure which way to travel.

SWIM has other seller accounts sitting currently but they are fairly new with no feedback.

Please give me your thoughts on what to do in this scenario!

Since you cant leave your lovely buyer a negative any longer, you can just leave then a false positive.
The other thing you can do is "Reply to feedback received".
This is in the feedback forum on eBay.
LINK to it: eBay Feedback Reply Link

You can put something like this:
"You MUST pay for the item before you can make any claims."
Then maybe people who see your neutral will think it is from a deadbeat bidder.

As far as I know that would be about it.

Yeah SWIM started to do that somewhat, But SWIM halted and waited for some responses. Thanks for the idea. SWIMs going to work with it. They already did a false positive on their account. They just needed a clever reply to their feedback.

Any more ideas are welcome!

I received a negative and made quite a few purchases to get the negative off the front page. However, that only works if the tab on your feedback page is on "all feedback". If a buyer clicks on "feedback as a seller" it only shows your "seller feedback" and the neg was right up at the top.

I had to sell a bunch of junk items from around the house at cheap prices to get some "seller" feedback. I still need 3 more sales to get that darn neg off page one when viewing my "feedback as a seller".

Does anyone know what the default setting is? Is it "all feedback" or does it vary when buyer clicks on your feedback?
