PP Removing banks??

I made 5 accounts brand new with ally VBA's. They have been aging 1 day no activity at all and the bank disappeared on all of them!! Is this a ally bank issue

I have had some really bad luck with Ally lately.

You don't necessarily need to use a VBA. I use actual bank accounts for all my stealth accounts.

aking yeah i guess ill open a few REAL BANKS. I wonder if they would let me open a few checkings in just 1 bank.

I have A LOT of accounts without a VBA or bank attached that have been working fine.

most of my stealth account the items are $100-1000 with a $300-600 being average.

VBA's are great for fully verifying Paypals but they are not necessarily 100% needed to sell. In the past I've sold without a VBA or Bank Account without issues but one can never be too safe.

I tried this on a account and it didn't work.

It said they needed to "verify my account due to security reasons" ....

Two options were either link my paypal account (which was linked with no vba/bank account)

Or add bank account on EBAY, yikes! haha..

When I called the ebay rep told me that its a policy that was implemented 3 months ago basically saying all accounts need a bank account to confirm your "identity". Not sure if your accounts were recently created or not. Could have just been a bad account on my end or something I did wrong..

All of my accounts are May-september. Most of the VBA attached to May created accounts(around 90) have had the VBA kicked off. The were all gmac/Ally but have previously been confirmed.

Some people reported having to add a VBA to be able to add funds.
I do have some accounts that require tax info to send money abroad. That is very new to me since October.

Ok, I mean the only reason I use a VBA is to let the account age for 2-3 months and then I add my real bank account. As we all know some ebay accounts start off on ebays good/bad side, for whatever reason. Sometimes you create a account and its almost as if they do everything in their power to make you not WANT to sell on ebay.

Not to say that happens on most accounts but its nice to have them age a little bit then add the real bank account, so I'm not wasting them.

Haven't myself had a gmac get removed by paypal, but only time will tell. I did buy a BOA VBA from (makerviet) recently and all is well with the paypal account. Not sure what gmac is even? I know its a bank but ... at least BOA VBA is from a big name bank.

Did any of the accounts get limited? (the ones that gmac got removed..)

I have not had any issues with limitations at all. My only issue was a stealth buyer reporting incorrect info that caused an a call into ebay. They did not end any listings but would not allow to list more items until calling in and updating user info.

Keep in mind, I am only into stealth since September(I don't consider EIN accounts stealth) but have handled a lot of transactions the past five weeks or so.

I have around 7 stealths all from Nov, selling in all of them right now and none of them have a VBA or Bank account yet, I wait until it's solid to add bank. Haven't had any issues, so it's doable.

What is your average daily rate of income coming to the PPs, if you don't mind my asking?

for these GMAC/ALLY VBAs that got kicked off, did you do the micro deposit or instant verify? did you go through the phone call/text verification?

They got disconnected seven months after verification. Some are still ok, but many have been disconnected. It makes zero difference to me. Accounts run just fine at 60%
It is pretty well documented gmac/ally are no longer good options for VBA.

Very low, I start with under $10 items and maybe sell 1 every couple of days or 3/4 a day depending on items, on another I have a $20 item I've sold around 15 quantity in around a month so it's a very low risk start for the PayPals that is key. Once it gets to a point where there is enough money in them that I want to withdraw, I have around 20 feedback already and a couple of months have passed so I have a better idea if it's worth to add the bank account
