Default How Long Does a Buyer Have to File a Dispute?

I have a buyer who bought something on May 28 and paid with Paypal.

Now...she wants a refund!

How long does she have to file a dispute or ask for a refund?

Also...she wants the refund BEFORE she sends it back!

I believe it's either 45 or 60 days. If she's asking for a refund before sending back, she's likely a scam artist or just green. Never do that, you're giving the buyer all the power. Hope I helped.

I think it's 60-90 days with Paypal. Maybe longer.

I wouldn't send her anything, she's had more then enough time to decide if she wanted to keep it or not.

It used to be 30 days with Paypal. But when credit cards are in play, the time limit is much longer now. Even after the Paypal dispute time lapses, the buyer can still file a chargeback with their credit card company if they really want to. So keep those tracking numbers!

I spoke to Paypal and she had 45 days to file a dispute.
She did try but it was "deferred" so they are only suggesting that the buyer and seller try to resolve it.
The buyer is saying that Paypal has "Suggested" that I put the money in my PP account and they will put a hold on it until we resolve it. Yeah right! They can suggest all they want...they buyer can take a flying leap for all I care.
