Default Is buing $1.00 items i.e stickers, baseball cards a good idea?

Is it okay to buy cheap $1.00 items to raise feedback??

Or does Ebay know of this and analyze accounts more closely when you do this..

Surely all the cheap items can't be off limits for new account holders?

Imagine if you're a newbie, you've never bought from ebay before, you aint gonna buy expensive items as you might be cautious as it's your first time buying in this big new scary ebay world.

What if you keep all your purchases in one category like crafts? So you buy a few cheap packets of beads, earring clasps, etc....do you think that would still look suspicious?

S.

I thought that you no longer could build up a feedback with buying items? Buying and selling feedback are a total but it does not count buying items to get the feedback to 5 for bin's or grow your feedback. Guess I am confused.

Merely buying the items doesn't raise alarms. However, suddenly getting the feedback does.

To talk about the subject, Selling items for $1.00 is fine. I remember at one point ebay was automatically starting bids off for auctions at .99 unless the seller changed the setting obviously.

I just sold some junk around the house that was taking up room and I made some decent money. So I cleaned my place up a little and got some cash. All while building some solid feedback.
