Tips for increasing selling limits?

Any tips on getting your selling limits up?

In the past, it seemed like they would let you sell more as long as it was in a different category. Not sure if this still applies though.

Best way is recognised to be to sell to your limits on your accounts, or buy accounts from here that already have raised limits, depends really on what your limits already are and how much effort you are prepared to put in to sell more, how many accounts do you have as well, and did you make them yourself?, I think it is quite some time since people could list more than the limit they have on their main account, in other categories

Safest way to increase limits is by opening more accounts which in turn means less risk but more item allowance to sell across the board.

I had a good idea, open 10 accounts you will then have a 100 item £6500 limit, then sell 3 items a day from each account in rota

Good idea to spread sales over multiple accounts - provide good customer service, get good feedback, let accounts grow naturally.

Like the responses noted, let it grow naturally. Buy a 100 item, $5000 account on here then find something that is easy to ship, cheap to buy and always sells. A lot of people go to thrift stores and find cheap clothing and sell them, some do baseball cards Ive seen, just use your imagination and make sure you can store and ship everything very quickly.

Another tip would be to maybe put a card insert or small free item or both. Put the insert in with the item asking for feedback, % off next purchase incentive, anything that'll make them want to leave feedback. Object that first month isnt to really make money, obviously that wouldnt be bad, but to actually hit that 100 item limit, ship fast and get feedback. Ebay loves to see that, then when that first month is up call in and request those limits to raise. Just make sure you use you stelath phone number to call in and make sure you are ready to answer a few simple questions(where you buy from, what you'll be selling in the future, etc..) Make sure you tell them you have alot of the same inventory, you have it packaged already, ready to ship, etc.. They want to know you can handle the order load. Done with a couple stealth accounts before and its worked well.

Everyone keep in mind I DO NOT sell VERO items.

That's what I was thinking too, pokerpro....Calling ebay is not a GOOD idea..
