Default plz help...im worried.

My first stealth is going well...no 21 day holds ever...limit increase also.
I have a used jumper on auction and i checked an hour or so ago and bids were 3 bids and was at £4.70
Have just checked now and biding has increased to 5 bids and now at £297.63

Is this a glitch...surely. Those last two recent bids are a member with no feedback.
What shall i do coz with it being that figure....i dont want to get flagged.
Please tell me this is a glitch...the jumper is worth no more than £10.

would it be safer to end listing?

Thanks so much if you can offer reassurance.

Wait and see what happens overnight would be a suggestion ooooo.halo!, if they are still there tomorrow then weigh up how long the auction has to go, if it has a few days prob going to be best to end the auction and block that bidder before you relist it

Then end it and block that bidder who looks to be having fun at your expense! Then you could relist it with a note on saying relisted due to timewaster (or scammer) if your feeling like it!

I usually just cancel bids from bidders with 0 feedback if something like this happens. Anything to good to be true, generally is.

Cancel their bids and block them.

You don't need to end the auction. Just moniter the auction and if you get more 0 bidders with crazy bid amounts obviously someone is trolling your account.

Same person obviously :-(
Have cancelled bids and blocked. Please could someone tell me how to alter my listings so people with 0 feedback cant bid.

Your account is unlikely to go down BUT chances are you will have nonpaying bidders...end their action - cancel and block. You don't need these potential losers

Thank you. Youve been great helping me today.

Wow clearly someone does not want you to sell that item.

Did you tick the box at the bottom when you updated your preferences, to say ' apply to current/existing & future listings.

Hope you are able to be online when the auction ends

Hi bunneh
It was just a cheap jumper and used. Unbranded.
Has to have been a joke as it was same person.making the.two bids. The only difference was that they reversed their username.
Yes....did the apply for now and future listings. Right annoyed as have probably lost good potential buyers. I will maybe leave it a week and relax the preferences a bit more.
Have just sold something ten mins ago. Had 33 watchers.
Had two emails off two members saying they.couldnt bid. Could be the same person but i doubt it. So have probably lost out there due to my change of preferences.
Never mind....onwards and upwards.
Hope i dont get reviewed for this. When i blocked the two usernames, i clicked on the reason being because i couldnt verify their identity.
If ebay look, surely they will be able to see what obviously happenned wont they.
This is my firat stealth and i treasure it lol :-)

nah you will be alright, ebay only look at these things if the buyer contacts them but its highly unlikely that they will do in this case.

You can make it so the preferences are only applicable to buyers with low ratings and not all buyers.
I know a LOT (if not most) of people with have 2 strikes within a month, so that could also be the reason they cannot bid.

You had to give a reason for blocking them?

I have never seen that before!

Gosh...ive just read my posts and i did say that...oooops.
I had to give a reason for cancelling their bids...not to block them.
Had a choice of three things. Went with the cant prove identity option as that seemed more applicable to my situation.

Blocking.was straightforward, no questions. Just plugged in their name and confirmed :-)

Sorry for causing confusion and thanks for bringing it up just_smile.:-)
