I know that calling is a bad idea, so I emailed PayPal to ask them to do something for me. I have two questions.
1. Am I screwed?
2. I got a automated email, will they look over my email at all?

I thought that in that automated email it says if you still have your question/inquiry, then reply to that email so that it gets sent to a real live person.
You need to reply to that email for a PayPal rep to respond, at least from my experience.

It is something along those lines....
a few paragraphs of nonsense not even really related to the question, and the last lot says ask again if this does not fully answer your question.
They are counting on people not bothering to follow thro'.
