Ebay Fee's due but cannot close bank account linked to paypal

I've searched and can't seem to find any answer to this question. I have a limited ebay account and a limited paypal account because of the SSN problem. My store inventory is still selling on ebay and re-listing itself automatically and my paypal account is still taking payments. I just can't withdraw so essentially its like a big savings account(thats fine).

All info is ⊗⊗⊗⊗ except obviously for the checking account which is in my real name. My ebay fees are overdue of about $1200 but I have $6k in the paypal account. I did not have paypal set up as an auto payment method. I always paid my fees with a one time VCC payment. My question is will Ebay eventually just pull the money out of the paypal account? Will they try to pull it from the checking account? Will I get away without paying fee's and make it 6 months to drain my account?

I guess my one other question is would you just pay the fees and keep using the account as long as possible?

I'm pretty sure Ebay can only bill the Credit/Debit Card you have on file with them. I see no reason to close the account? Just report the Credit/Debit card lost or stolen.

No need to lie to the bank about a stolen card. Go to the bank and make sure that third party access is removed from the relevant account.

I need to keep the third party access open though don't I? So I can get the paypal payment in 6 months? Or can I just cut it off and then re-authorize it when I need the paypal money transfered.

With all due respect Modee I have searched the forum several times and haven't come up with any solid opinions which is why I decided to post. I'm more interested in opinions at this point. This situation is quite unique and I was just curious what other fellow members would do in this situation. Pay the fees and keep selling? Keep selling without paying fees? Or lock down the checking account so Ebay doesn't go there for the funds owed?
