Default Tactics For High Holiday eBay Sales Volumes

Does anyone have any tactics that they use on eBay to increase sales around the holidays? Anything in particular you do differently around the holidays with listings? Are people starting to create more accounts, list more, offer incentives, free gifts, etc.

I am looking ways to increase my sales as much as possible in November and December!! :D

i would say more personalized auctions, seasonal type icons, if its Christmas incorporate the theme into your ads..

Good luck with sales this Holiday season, the economy is tough right now.. I havent sold anything in 2 weeks.

I usually earn 360,000 per year. This year has been one rocky road and hardship.. ebay hasnt helped.

Yea I definitely plan to incorporate Christmas themes in my listings. Also, offer free shipping.

I have been doing ok and still actively selling, but I am doing some research to find other niches out there for the holidays.

Diversify your accounts is my advice. If you start making too much money very quickly you will raise red flags. Spread things out over a couple of accounts.

I like the October and November increase in sales, but when December hit, it's bad because through most of the year packages almost never get lost. Then December comes, and 10-20% get lost, even when I use signature confirmation, they just dissapear en route.

Wow, that is one this i have not experienced, is lost packages. USPS has done a good job. What do you think are happening to your packages?
