I have paid with Western union to seller that sells on Alibaba, but these are seller's that I have a relationship with on repeat business. Credit card would be the safest method though.
Standard payment options for alibaba - rarely you find a vendor willing to accept paypal but they are on there. VISA would be a great option also but have personally never seen an alibaba seller accept it.
Alibaba have a seller performance standard system on the right side of your searched listings showing a gold start seller rating - so obviously you would want to stick to those sellers.
Consider a no-refund policy when paying with WU or T/T even with highly verified sellers because once they have the payment, its their terms or bust.
There is a reason alibaba is the worlds largest b - b trading platform and just like eBay there is always someone out there trying to screw you.
If the deal is too good to be true it most likely is.
I am trying to place an order on Ali and the price is good but the only way to pay is Western union or T/T.
I would rather pay with PP as this is my first ever time on Ali.
Is it safe to pay with Western union or T/T?
Sorry if question is a bit crap, its just im new to this.
Any help would be great.
Thanks
Wrighty
DONT DO IT !! Never pay by western union!! Find a seller on their who will accept your bank debit card and pay by that, there are plenty that accept that and deals with them go through no problem, as long as you don't mind waiting anything up to a month for delivery.
