Absolutely no chance. He first sold a business because they were getting "clobbered by Amazon".

And then expects people to pay 50 dollars for a 5-15% discount. Such a bad business model.

its not really all that much different than amazon prime. but cheaper. he has some money to play with now that he sold diapers.com. not to mention how much hes raised from investors. i guess it really depends on what he's selling, deals, etc. do you know if there will be private sellers?

It's way different than Prime in my opinion.. With Prime I get all my stuff within 2 days from ordering it.. It includes Prime Music, instead of buying from Itunes all the time, and includes movies as well, instead of paying for Netflix. I get all this for $49 a year..Can't beat that in my opinion.

I think Jet.com is gonna have a hard time getting off the ground, Amazon is the wrong company to try to compete with IMHO.
