Default Your Equifax credit file indicates that...

I've begun opening seperate bank accounts for each of my stealth accounts.
I have chosen to go with Halifax, Barclays and Natwest for the time being.

I opened an account with Halifax in November 2014.
Today I decided to open my next account with Natwest however this message appeared during the application process:

"Your Equifax credit file indicates that you may have a current account opened on or around November 2014."

Below this is a list of 4 accounts and I'm asked to select the one I opened an account with (Halifax being one of the options)

Following this they say:
"Your Equifax credit file indicates that you may have a current account opened on or around April 2011."

With another list of banks (this list being different however my personal account is there)

I then decided to abandon the application as I was unsure if there would be a problem and ask for any guidance anyone may have on the matter?

Any help is very much appreciated.

Its just something that they do to confirm you are who you say you are.

If you know all the answers then great

If you get them wrong then the bank will think something is wrong and rightly so.

Ok that's great, thanks James.
I wasn't sure if they'd be any concern as I'd only recently opened up a bank account.

That question becomes reallllyyyyy difficult when you have opened quite a few accounts for stealth purposes. I sat there staring at the screen racking my brains as though it was advanced algebra.

Just more reason to keep precise records.

If you run a credit report on yourself you will be able to see all the answers on your report.

Would you recommend not having more than 1 account per bank?
Also if an ebay/paypal account gets suspended then the associated bank account cannot be re-used.. Is it possible to then close that account and then at some point after open a new bank account? (with the same bank)

Thanks in advance!

You can have 3/4 accounts per bank, they just need to be opened up slowly over time.
