Default Order Defect Rate Questions? When suspensions usually happen? Long vs Short Term Rate

We do $20,000+ (2,000 - 2,500 orders) a month on Amazon in the US.

This time of year our order defect rate tends to go up some just because of the holidays and things not always arriving before Christmas like people hoped.

Do you know if Amazon puts more weight on Short Term or Long Term Order Defect Rate when it comes to suspensions?

Does anybody know the ranges as well for Good, Fair, Poor Performance:

Good = <1%
Fair = ?
Poor = ?

Thanks in advance. We are working hard to correct issues but wanted to understand a little bit better how it works. Haven't been suspended before, so would like to be proactive in fixing it.

I have been researching this topic as well. I sale about 18000 items a month during the holidays.

In jan volume drops to about 4000 sales a month so naturally the ODR raises during first quarter of the year.

My only solution so far has been to increase sales volume with cheap popular items. sale for minimum profit to gain volume. This will save your account.

I had a theory that an increase in positive feedback would offset your neg feedback percentage in your ODR metric, thus being quick solution to Odr problems.

My theory was wrong. The negative feedback percentage in your odr metric is based on two factors only, sales volume, and neg feedback based on that volume.

So in conclusion: more volume fast is the only solution to your problem. And positive feedback is essentially a useless metric as it does not affect odr.

ODR MUST BE BELOW 1% OR THE ACCOUNT WILL BE LOST.
SOLUTION: MORE VOLUME FAST
