Default Anyone ever been linked by a bad password?

Has anyone gotten an account linked because they entered an old password to a suspended account to try and log in with a new one?

I dont think its possible but who knows

Password remains the same......never a problem. Only thing that keeps me sane with everything else you have to write down and remember.

Ya'll can do that while the accounts are OK. BUT should an account go down, then the use of the same password might bring the other accounts under scrutiny.
Fine while everything is up and running. Lose an account, then password change is just another safeguard to prevent linking in my experiences. I call it 'housekeeping'

And after beating around the bush, two users here last year did have accounts
lost with the incorrect use of an old password.

Never happened before.....same password. Many accounts later up and running. Just hire someone else to clean your house who doesn't speak English and you'll be okay. No hablo espanol!!!

It's better and safer with eBay trust and safety dep. to change it.... they many monitor this anytime and you got linked to a suspended account... Better keep the passwords in an excell sheet

SWIM was lucky. SWIMs first account that they tried to get back on ebay (before discovering the Stealth Book) was full of errors. They tried to use information from an existing suspended account numerous times and used all the same information from suspended.

It never got suspended for linking of any sort. It was also a high traffic seller account.

After reading the minuscule things people were getting linked for here. SWIM wonders how the hell the account was so indestructible.

Maybe because SWIM is a happy camper?
Seriously, accounts sometimes stay active with no rhyme nor reason. Except it
is ebay and they are hard to understand.
