FINAL ANSWER - Is changing my IP and cookie enough?
I have read vigorously through the forums, and I do have the Stealth Book. The books mentions IP changing and cookies, however in the forums there is more paranoia with respect to flash objects and more sophisticated tracking methods.
My question, besides the other obvious details (name, address, e-mail, paypal) is changing my IP address, in combination with firefox clear personal data and cccleaner enough? I see modee also suggested the Objection firefox tool which i did as well.
The reason I ask is because, before when I changed my IP and deleted cookies, my bank would not recognize the name but allow me to enter it and the password. When I ran CCcleaner it not only did not recognize my name but also asked me an additional question. I am sure ebay is as sophisticated as the bank if not more so.
I also noticed that eBay required me to phone verify before re listing an item, only after I ran ccleaner and not before when I was using IP change and Firefox clear cookies. What is the latest on this detection method?
Should I change my computer login ID, has that been compromised? Now if I changed my IP address, and cleared my firefox cookies but I did not clear my flash cookies would that be linked?
