Requesting re-evaluation/lower reserves
Awesome community, here. I've been reading a lot but registered now to ask the following:
Around 7 months ago, I was hit by a USD 2k reserve and 10% rolling reserve (6 months waiting period). I suspect my fairly high refund rate triggered it. Since then, I've reduced the number of refunds quite a lot so I'm thinking about asking them for re-evaluation of the reserves.
Is 7 months too early to ask?
Do they usually ask for the same detailed information they asked for the first time, again? Or do they simply say yes or no?
I prefer not to go through the whole process, again, or potentially "waking up sleeping dogs". Still scarred by the temporary limit they put on my account while I was providing the documentation, last year.
On the other hand, it would also be helpful to get at least a part of the 7k that are currently locked away...
Bonus question:
I've got a separate personal account and it turns out they apply the same reserves to it! Has anyone successfully convinced them to "unlock" the personal account?
