Default Amazon Deposit

Guys I am still fairly new up here. How long do you have to have an Amazon account in good standing for them to give you the option to have a deposit each day?

I haven't had this option in the US or CA for any account to date.
EU is usually from the start (after they finish their reviews, verification etc etc)

that option stopped in 2012 i believe. I have yet to see proof of daily disbursement on an account made after that time. I myself have made several accounts with no luck of getting that

Thanks. I guess that why people fight so hard to stay on Ebay. Seems like amazon is much more of a risk for sellers.

Every account verified in the EU is available for daily disbursements. They did end it around 2012 but they brought it back I have 2 new accounts where we can do this.

I was also led to believe it's the same for Amazon.com Now but I've not seen this myself.

US is every 14 days for a pro seller. I understand if you are a standard seller disbursement is every 7 days. EU is daily for newer verified accounts. All accounts in the EU will be this way in time. This was not amazon choice for daily disbursements but EU legislation.

Thank you Micky,

So to sale on EU market, I have to sign up a new EU account using my US information?
Or just signup the FBA Export using my regular US account?

To list your goods on DE,FR,UK,SP and IT you have open an EU account. Opening via the UK site is easiest as its all english. Once you have opened the account there is an option in each marketplace to change the default language to English. You will need a passport or driving licence and later a utility bill to have the account verified. You can use your US bank account for disbursements, exchange rate is not great but simpler than opening a UK bank for sterling payment and a Euro account for your euro sales. If you sign up for FBA export on your US account your goods will only be listed on .com. Hope this helps.

Yes Tony you can use all your US info.
You will have the option to withdraw daily
You cannot ship direct to amazon as they won't be classed as your importer.
PM me and I can give you my UK freight agent, he will do all the paperwork for customs etc and send stocks to whichever EU amazon you want them sending.

Not that it matters too much but it was amazons choice. The EU directive requires them to verify who the customer is.

But once verified there is a much lower chance of fraud, at least in the eyes of Amazon. That's why I thought you'd be able to do it on .com.

Interesting that you can't ship directly to Amazon UK though. I have heard something about this but I'm pretty sure lots of sellers do not play by those rules?

You can as they pay the import charge if there is one.

Im sure what Micky said about FBA is correct but I'm also sure there must be a way around it as I don't believe my competitors are going through the correct channels.

Barry, you cannot ship direct to amazon.co.uk from any territory outside the EU. The reason is, most imports into the EU duty and vat is payable and this is to be paid by the importer, i.e. amazon.co.uk if shipped direct to them. They will not accept the charges or the shipment. All the answers should be here.

If send the orders direct yourself and the value is less than £18.00 no vat or duty is payable by the customer. You place a CN22 sticker on the package. These can be downloaded from the internet.

Barry it no extra trouble to go through correct channels, costs maybe £50 to your freight agent for UK customs clearance. A few years ago you could get stocks through and direct into amazon. Now companies like DHL,FedEX have under instructions from amazon blocked international shipments to there EU depots.
