Default Alibaba sued in U.S. by luxury brands...AGAIN.

No need to explain to execs and senior members, but this company and midget boy Jack Ma need to stop parading around like they run or ever have run a legitimate business.

Unfortunately, this blood sucker and his business have become so huge by constantly investing in dozens of other massive companies that they will never be truly stopped.

Alibaba sued in U.S. by luxury brands over counterfeit goods | Reuters

N00bies...please continue to handle this bla.ck market enterprise with caution and do not be sucked in by greed or desperation. I know they are not the only marketplace like this, but they are the marketplace that all other ill.egal goods traffi.ckers aspire to be.

For some reason I think the luxury brands wouldn't have anything against them selling them, if they would get a decent cut.

And that is e-commerce in the 21st century Haidukken. It has always been one of the basics of any kind of commerce of course. There will be more issues of this kind as well as China continues to grow and develop, there will certainly be no stopping it no matter who sues who.

Alibaba is NOT just a place for counterfeit goods. Plenty of legitimate items are sold on Alibaba. Everything from bulk generic goods to chemicals, industrial equipment, etc.

The brand owner's argument is that Alibaba does not do enough to stop the flow of counterfeit goods. But the fact is, most of the trade in counterfeit goods has moved off their site. People importing the counterfeits now deal directly with the suppliers, cutting out Alibaba entirely. So, suing Alibaba, or even shutting it down, isn't going to do very much to make a dent in the counterfeit trade.

Either way, I always recommend staying away from the counterfeit business. They are cracking down more and more and it just is not worth it. 20/20 had a show the other night showing things like counterfeit medicines and airbags and airplane parts. That stuff is scary, because people could get hurt. But is seems like they are phaking EVERYTHING these days, even Crest toothpaste is counterfeited!

Of course they can't be 100%. I mean they are just pretending like it rarely happens when they d*mn well know it's millions of dollars worth and they will just keep pretending like they are "doing their best" to combat it. They've gotten too big now so they can do whatever they need to always make it look like they are in control and being responsible.
