Ebay did the same to me. They will call your registered telephone number with an automated message giving you a 4 digit pin.

Once you put in this pin into your ebay account you can continue using it.

Exactly and when I had this happen 2 weeks later my account was NARU'd. :(

Different User Accounts are the way to go...
