Ive logged into my paypal today and im in negative balance, the buyer has done payment reversal on both payments , and worse thing is this all happend between 28.05.2015 and 29.05.2015 and case was closed within a friggin day? wth is this about?

ive emailed paypal stating i have proof of postage for both payments and they was sent to address on paypal payment so im covered, but how the hell have they opened and closed 2 cases within 24 hours ?

also on 28th of may i recieved a email from paypal regarding this issue, on 29th of may i have email from paypal stating "thanks for your reply case has been resolved" wtfish???

Im guessing that this was done direct through PP and not an Ebay sale as the latter would have to involve a dispute case raised through ebays resolutions centre, It sounds like this was a direct PP payment which the buyer has contested??

More info please

this is what it said,

reason for Dispute: Unauthorised
Date of Complaint: 28 May 2015
Status: Case Closed
Status Details: We have reviewed the case. Because you have not met Seller Protection performance requirements, the transaction will be reversed. The case is now closed.

The Dispute History Log displays all actions related to your claim.
Date Actor Action Details
29 May 2015 PayPal Email sent to seller
29 May 2015 PayPal Email sent to buyer
28 May 2015 PayPal Email sent to seller
28 May 2015 PayPal Email sent to buyer
28 May 2015 Buyer Unauthorised case initiated

thanks

I thought it may have been an unauthorized transaction case.

Was the address that you posted the items to confirmed?

It was a chargeback, so buyer got his money back instantly.

For you to be covered, you would have had to conform to seller protection criteria, i.e. sending to a confirmed address etc. - did you do that?

Encountered this twice for the last 6 months...just recently closed one of the case. Unless you have signature confirmation, I don't think you are cover by paypal. I won both cases of "unauthorized transaction" after I contacted paypal and proved that the account holder signed for the package him/herself. Case closed within 24hr after...now I'm encountering a second scammer who claim the package was "empty".... lets see how this one turn out. My best advice is if the item is over $200, add signature and insurance.

Hmh, I also wondering if it's ok if the OP can send me this buyer username? I'd like to add this person to my list to avoid any future transaction.

I've won 3 out of 4....Every time they pulled this on me...I would take it a step higher. I would give them some crap about how I was going to file a Claim with the USPS, a Police Report, and I would make sure I would find out who "stole" the person's stuff from inside the package. Well.....most of the time the item was miraculously found, crazy how that happened.

I've also done that but the buyer still insist a refund. I was told by ebay rep to wait it out until the buyer open a case against me. I was also told not to file a police report, that will be the duty of the buyer. In the case if the buyer win the claim, I really hope ebay cover for my end since I'm taking their advices. >.<

If it doesnt work out, dont bother chasing ebay, despite following their advice, they will never take your side.

Why are you handing out eBay advice when the transaction was on gumtree?

Not even relevant to the topic.
