Default Invincible Paypal Account??/

Ok, So I was selling information products. whatever. ebay suspended my account. Paypal limits my account. Requires tons of information. SS#, ID, Invoices, shipping confirmations etc.

All the while I am still able to receive payments after the limitation...
All I can do is Recieve payments, though. I can't send money or anything else.

This was in May.

Account stays limited for 180 days. Now, it is still limited. I can still receive payments, and I can now withdraw to a bank account, but it is still limited.

What the hell? So I have a "semi-functional" limited Paypal account.
It does what I need it to do. Accept Payments - Put them in my bank account. I was even able to lift the 500 monthly withdrawal limit by confirming with a Prepaid Visa.

Anyone experience this before. Is it possible for this account to set off any flags? Its already limited... will the computers pick it up for strange activity if I start moving lots of money through it?? And Limit it further, or somehow make me wait an additional 180 days??
Thoughts????

you need to ditch that account if its a stealth account. giving them your social doesnt do any good for the most part, only does more harm. if this account isnt really significant to you, i'd say get rid of it

I have to disagree with that statement. If you play by PayPals rules and let them think they have you, you usually end out well.

I wouldnt rely on that account for much longer or at all. Its a ticking time-bomb with your money in it.

I would withdraw and start a new account.

I too sold info products on email. I had/have 2 ebay accounts both linked to 1 paypal account. One of my ebay accounts were killed in May. The other, a powerseller account was not and still is not. My paypal account is still going strong with no limits etc. I still use my paypal account everyday. All 3 accounts were created pre-Stealth Book so they are all linked via IP etc. However, my powerseller ebay account and paypal are still going strong. I don't know why, maybe because they were created pre 2003.

5 figures?!?! why do you trust paypal with over 10 grand of your money?!?!? I dont see how you can possibly withdraw all that without getting limited.

I know there are stories of people getting limited etc. but its never happened to me personally. I know, until it happens to me. I accept paypal and google checkout but it just so happens that 80% of my customers pay with paypal. So if I were to only take google, that means I would lose 80% of my customers, which is why I still use paypal. I just let the funds build up and now I'm nervous. I'm doing $1000 withdraw per week, 500 each time.

I would up the withdrawl rate slowly.. start doing 500 on MWF to get it out of there faster. Then after a couple of weeks up it to 1000 on M/Th etc.

Answer to your Q: I had 2 ebay acc, 1 had 900fb which got suspended, other had probably about 1500 at the time. I kept using it and started a new one. It was up to 2400fb when it got linked and the new one had about 600. All 3 used the same paypal which is still not limited but I am not using it.
