Question Will my transfer make it??? just got limited...

Over the past few weeks I sold quite a few high value items on newish ebay and paypal accounts and all was going well until yesterday morning I woke up to find my account has been limited with my personal information requested for verification. I wish I knew about these forums ahead of time but I guess a lot of people don't find them until something happens.

Anyway whats done is done but here is my big question. I made 3 withdrawals within the past week. The first one is in my bank account. The second one which is the largest of the amounts says completed on paypal but it hasn't shown up in my bank account yet. I was expecting it to be deposited either Wednesday or Friday, not today because of the holiday although my paycheck went through after midnight so not sure if the holiday matters or not. The third one that I made about 24 hours after the second one says in paypal it has been reversed. As the second one doesn't say anything about being reversed did it sneak by in time and should I be expecting that money?

Thanks, any comments are greatly appreciated.

i wouldnt be so sure. ive had them say they were completed on paypals side and still get reversed. if theyre not in your bank account theres a good chance theyre coming back to paypal.

well it went through this morning. They wouldn't take it back out somehow would they? I think I'm safe.

that's true, if I were you to be save, I'd withdraw all that. My paypal account did that before. It didn't say reversed after it was completed, but like 2 days later it went right back out of my account. I called my bank and told them that I never authorized. After a week or two, I was fortunate to get my money back, and then I closed that bank account that was linked with the paypal account to be safe.

okay that is probably what I'll do then. what are the chances of this happening and what were the circumstances involved in your case?

If you get a negative balance and owe someone money PayPal will try to take funds from your bank account.
