Default Avoiding Paypal Fees

Would there be a way one could avoid or at least minimize paypal fees for expensive items (or several items together) by shifting money around to different accounts? Anything under $500 is easy. Anything over $500 requires a premiere or business account, which is a lot harder to finesse and of course involves fees. If anyone has figured out how to do this, please post here.

P.S. Yes I know there are other options, but this thread relates only to Paypal. Please don't use this space to pimp your merchant accounts.
Thanks

I don't think so Jack. Paypal takes it's money the same time you receive it. You have no way to get the funds transfered fast enough. If that's what you mean.

Here's the gist. Let's say you have 6 items and together they total $2000 (for example). That's obviously going to entail a fair fee when you transfer it and Paypal already took a slice when they were first paid, so the object is not to have to pay twice. Would there be a way of shifting that money around so that you wouldn't have to? Again, anything under $500 is no big deal as it doesn't involve an upgrade and the associated fees. Surely some of the high rollers here had to deal with this issue before they moved to merchant accounts or GCO. The question is whether they found a way or just put up with the double charge?

Oh I see. How are you transferring the money? Whenever I "send money" to other paypal accounts, there are no fees for this. You can transfer cash, and withdraw with your last account without any fees if you use, "send money".

Just a regular transfer. I use the "send money" too. But once you hit that $500/mo ceiling, it requires you to register for a premiere account to receive any more on the other end. I already have more than one premiere. I really don't need yet another nor any more fees ;p

i think when you receive a payment via paypal for goods in ebay or outside ebay
paypal took the fees automatically from the amount of money received.

Yes, but this is funds that have already been received I'm now trying to get out of that account and deposited in my bank on another account. Anything over the limit will mean the account will have to be upgraded and of course, I get fee billed twice. Ugh.
