I want to buy from china and the only thing other than bank transfers or straight western union payment ( which should never be done ) is a CC payment for a western union payout. thats all they offer. Thanks
Ive used western union twice from china now and recieved what I paid for both times (both under $1000) but you really got to get a feel for who your buying from and in the end your always taking a risk but you can minimize that risk
RESEARCH the company
if they got a phone number. call it, check out any other details
buy small samlple order first
Ive sent $XX,XXX to supplier with Western Union.(not single transactions)...The western union lady yelled out loud "Your sending $1500 china" LOL, if she only knew.Never been scammed yet, just do your homework and research! and after you finish do it 3 more times, make sure there are no discrepancies.
I think PayPal charges China accounts a few to withdraw I belive, that is why they usally prefer Western Union or Wire Transfer..
I have also did 1 western union to a china supplier but like one other person said on here you have to get to know something about that supplier and even then you are taking a risk.

How would I get to know a supplier without that risk? Even if I buy in tiny orders, the big one can bite me good. But thanks for the info cause a CC western union sounds a lot safer after all your helpful past experiences posted.
stay in contact, have them take tagged pictures of the stock, whois the domain...But if the supplier is smart at all, they would know if they scam a potential long term customer once, then they would miss out on WAAAY more money in the long run then they could make of off a single transaction.
Yea but, they are like us in the wrong way. I store them in my files to check on these sites and alot of them close down after a while. It's like ebay, if their prices are to good to be true...Beware. Thanks for your response.
Maybe someone on this forum has dealt with this supplier. tell us who they are and we will let you know.
Just a quick suggestion, i think it would be wise for us to have a supplier information section on this forum. Not only will it help others to avoid blatent scams but also give a place for people to be introduced to new suppliers.
Not a whole lot at all...If you do business with them through some other service first and have success, then you may want to go that route if it is cheaper.
