Does Amazon track the tracking number I add to the package I send ?
I'm thinking of some Idea how to get feedback to my Amazon seller account.
I thought of open separate buyer account on Amazon and then purchase some cheap items from my Amazon seller account.
Would this work ?
Do I have to add tracking number to all order ?
Does Amazon system actually track the tracking I add to the orders ? Or I can just generate a tracking number ?
Please help

Yes, this works. I do it all the time.
Tracking isn't necessary, but it is probably a good idea.
Too, you don't have to send the ⊗⊗⊗⊗ package to yourself, but to any address, as long as it is confirmed.

It works, you don't have to add tracking number but you need to be extremely careful. Buying too many & too frequently, along with submitting multiple feedback in short time, might cause Amazon red-flag and review your account immediately. You might get suspended due to "Feedback & Volume manipulation" if Amazon found out . There's a million ways to die on Amazon

As far as I know they don't bother or can't. One reliable supplier I have doesn't always add the tracking (but never have issues with shipments). I just type out a random first class number.
Just be sure to not link accounts and DO NOT add feedback for at least a week to stay under the radar.

Look at your metrics, you will see the new addition.

wouldn't it be just like ebay where it only actually reports that it was delivered? you can of course search a real tracking number to see its progress but i dont think you can see actual address so i dont think either amazon or ebay care to track just the zip.
does the tracking metric on amazon cause you to get in trouble, does anyone know?
