Default How Realistic is Amazon Stealth?

I see a number of people here report great success with eBay Stealth. It seems like there are no limitations to it in comparison to a legit account, as long as you are careful.

To what extent does this apply to Amazon? It seems like they are more strict, have more ways to check up on you and are generally in your business when it comes to selling. Sounds like Amazon Stealth would be very difficult compared to eBay. Any feedback?

It is a saving grace for a beginner wanting to run or create stealth accounts. There is A LOT of great information in the guide you will need to be successful...small things you just don't think about in creating accounts

Between reading the ghost guide and as much as you can on the forum your going to be in a great position to get back onto Amazon in a very strong position.

Amazon are very good at tracking, so really do read as much as you can and then read a bit more to learn how to avoid their tracking and linking methods.

The biggest problem now is obtaining a VCC Amazon will accept.

Amazon is not much more difficult than eBay. However, if they believe you are selling counterfeits, they WILL close your account without warning. They have a zero tolerance policy for counterfeits, being rude to customers, or selling cheap items that fall apart and fail to live up to their customer's expectations.

Having said that, if you have legitimate, decent quality products and provide good customer service, you can stay on Amazon for a long time. I have one Amazon Stealth that is nearly 5 years old.

Is yours verified stealth? With made up ids and address documents?

Also, is yours individual or business type avcount? Really hope your reply please.

Thanks

The account I mentioned was converted to a business account back when they started asking for Tax-ID information. It was a pro-merchant account from day one. Not because you need to be a pro-merchant, but if you sell more than 40 items per month, it just makes sense because the fees come out cheaper that way.

And no, I never had to make up ANY documents for it. Amazon SOMETIMES asks for these documents, but not nearly as frequently as eBay or PayPal.

On Amazon, once they see you are selling and NOT causing them any issues, they mostly leave you alone.

If you want to be successful on Amazon, just reply to ANY AND ALL customer inquiries as quickly as possible - within 6 hours is ideal, but NEVER longer than 24 hours. You cannot simply ignore a buyer with a stupid question the way you can on eBay. Keep your defect rate low by shipping on time, using tracking and being professional at all times. If a customer wants a refund, don't argue with them. Just have them send the item back and refund their money. Because if you don't, then Amazon will do it for you AND you will now have a defect on your account. But my refund rate on Amazon is less than one half of one percent. I take care not to sell low quality items, and if something I am selling ends up generating a lot of complaints, I get rid of that item. I usually test any items I am planning to sell before listing it anyway.

Amazon IS very buyer-friendly, but don't let that scare you.

LISTEN TO JEFFWEICO.

Just to piggy back.... but customer service needs to be on point. Answer emails ASAP even if you just reply "yes, I confirm".
NEVER delay on printing labels. Nothing is worse than being below standards or getting suspended because you were lazy on printing a couple labels and you have the item in hand .
NEver question returns like e.bay. Just agree.

If you slip up to much Then they will start holding your money longer than they already do.Almost making it seem like you are going in reverse.

A.mazon wants you to be the best customer rep ever.

Default Re: How Realistic is Amazon Stealth?

Just to give some backstory to my question, I've been running an Amazon account for a couple of years, with pretty good sales numbers (an average salary basically). Recently, it got shut down due to a complaint from another seller (I don't sell counterfeits). Amazon is pretty much in the "sorry, now get lost" mode, so I've just about given up trying to get it back.

I'm contemplating getting the ghost guide, as I'm now sitting on a bunch of inventory and a whole lot of sunk costs. Is it realistic in terms of getting back to where I was? Would I be able to sell these left over products (obviously they'd be described differently and stuff) or are they going to figure out it's me based on a similar combo of products?

By the way, I sell pretty much random cheap junk. Not branded or anything. I just made the mistake of listing under someone else's listing of the same (let's face it) product too many times.

Yes you can get back to selling where you left off in no time. You can start selling today.
Don't contemplate about getting Amazon Ghost. Its very knowledgably and will tell you everything you NEED to know to go Ghost.
Let me ask you this.....
Is the $40 something for the book worth getting your average salary back?

I would pay that any day to get my sales back

Thanks for all the replies. I got the guide and will go the VPN route. It seems that Amazon doesn't ask for SSN? Is that right? Do they have any 200 & $20,000 type of rule, like eBay?

They ask at exactly 25 sales and limit your account at 50 on personal accounts.

Business accounts are required to add before selling.

maybe different from amazon UK?

I am at my 100++ sales now and not asked for documents.

another account is at 30++ sales and is not asked for anything.

Both are individual accounts.

UK and USA are not similar. USA IRS Laws are in play for credit card processors.
