Default Amazon inactivated my item and others are selling

Amazon inactivated an item that the FDA has issued a warning. My item is a bit different from what I can gather about the warning; However, I have not been given a chance after several emails and appears and one phone call. There are still hundreds of sellers selling similar or the same item. What is the best way to go about either?
1. Getting item activated so that I can continue selling, it was a hot seller.
2. Assist to ensure that other sellers don’t sell the item

open another account in another area and test the sale again. If problems occur, ditch the item. If it sells well with no issues then keep on selling it.

Option #2

Listen to YANKEE

Honestly its going to be your only other option. If its that "hot" of a seller then you would try it

I don't own another computer to create a "ghost account". I have never created a ghost account. The one I have is ligit. Do I run the risk to loose both?

What other options do you have? If amazon keeps saying no, then I guess you have no options.
They really dont care if you sell the item or not. They only care about you causing them problems and they are worried you selling this one item is going to cause them problems so they blocked the item OR you are selling lower than they prefer so they blocked your item. This happens often if you are competing directly against Amazon themselves.

Well it was my hot seller item. I am a bit angry but want to make sure I do the right thing. If I report every other seller down is a lot of work and Amazon may not even care.
I need to let it go but I'm still in the healing stages from angry, disappointed etc.

focus that energy into $$$$$ by using the system.
Opening another amazon account takes minutes. No big deal at all.

I understand your anger. I have been there. eBay suspended a hot selling item that I had basically created, yet dozens of other sellers were able to keep listing it.

The fact is, there is nothing you can do. You can give Amazon a list of those sellers and NOTHING IS GOING TO HAPPEN. Except that you will be even MORE frustrated.

Look closely at YOUR item description and THEIR item description. Note any differences. Could there be some wording in your listing which would single your item out? If so, change that wording before listing on a different account.

It COULD BE that nothing is different. Maybe they just have not gotten to the others yet. Maybe someone at Amazon hates you. I have no idea why Amazon and eBay tend to pick out a few sellers of particular items and shut their listings down when there are dozens, or even hundreds, of the same item for sale by other sellers.

If you try to re-list that item on Amazon without their permission, you will most likely be permanently banned from selling on Amazon. Is it fair? Of course not. But it is reality.

I wouldn't waste my time worrying about the other sellers, or why Amazon is still allowing them to sell, EXCEPT for trying to figure out if there is something different in your listing that is leading them to target you. Other than that, I would concentrate my efforts at creating new accounts to sell on.

You are in business. Business is about profit. Revenge and reporting others will not put any money in your pockets. It is a waste of time and effort. Getting back to selling WILL put money in your pocket. That is the bottom line.

I feel you. I got suspended for selling a mouse and got my account back. Meanwhile, amazon has let 25 other chinese sellers for months sell counterfeits all over the listing way below their wholesale. I don't get it. I did speak up and almost got permanently banned. As jeffweico stated, I'd open other accounts and back off with that one. SP is not nice, nor do they have any remorse. Apparently, no one holds them accountable, you see people wrongfully suspended and they write the Jeff Bezos address and then they send some canned message sorry for inconvenience sometimes we err on the side of caution. How about we start erring on the side from buying from amazon? LOL.
