Using Paypal on Vacation?

I hear horror stories of people getting their paypal account limited because of someone from a different IP address logining into an account and paypal limiting it and requesting a phone verification, etc.

I am wondering how safe it is to log into my paypal account when i am on vacation? will this happen?

i am not going out of the country, i will be in the US.

do they just care about IP addresses from overseas or places with high fraud?

whats my best course of action?

Well 2 days ago i logged in from the UK and I have been fine so far. I live in the US

You shouldn't have any problems within the US ... or UK. People move all the time.

Paypal does care about the IP address though. They track it's location all the time to make sure there aren't fraudulent users on the account. They'll sometimes limit accounts because of this, but all you have to do is call them up, letting them know what's going on.

so if they do care about IP address, then if I log into my paypal account with my laptop on vacation, they could limit it?

and basicly what I am reading, to unlimit it, you have to take a phone call from you home phone.

am i correct here?
