my person account got limited, will all my family members get limited as well?

I have 2 other siblings who use paypal and ebay from time to time just to buy miscellaneous items, they never sold anything.

Will their accounts automatically get limited because their home address is the same as my home address? We also use the same modem/router so the ip address are the same.

Different devices may help. Also the reason for violation. I would suggest NOT selling on those other accounts. Only time will tell. Wish I could suggest a solid answer.

I don't think eBay will ban the other two accounts if they are just BUYING, but if they start SELLING, then it could be an issue.

And Yankee is right, it also depends a lot on WHY the account was banned. The worse the violation, the more the likelihood of them banning the other 2 accounts.

The big question here are if the cookies are mixed, if you want to be extra careful, start getting a new IP address for each account.

Like jeffweico stated, buyer accounts tend to do better even if info is linked. If they choose to sell, then that MAY become an issue. Nothing is 100% certain but chances are higher
