Re: Noob with Noob question about Amazon buyer acount for Prime
1. Whats the difference between AVS and VCC, and why would I need a Amazon AVS for this process? AVS and VCC are the same thing in that they are both credit card alternatives. AVS means that the acrs will fully address verify. Most VCC's only ZIP CODE verify. Amazon has banned most gift cards and VCC's. So the AVS cards are your best option.
2. If I get an AVS, does it comes with a VCC? They are the same thing, with the exception of address verification.
3. What billing address am I required to input for the AVS/VCC? Is one provided or do I make one up? I can't use my current address because it is attached to an existing buyer account of mine. Either the person selling you the card will get the address to input or you will register the card yourself. Usually, you can use any address you like. That is the advantage of these cards.
4.What is "bin", what is "spl avs" BIN refers to the first six digits of a credit card number. It identifies the issuing bank and the industry. I have never heard of "SPL AVS" but apparently it means the card will address verify.
4. Can anyone recommend a reputable service? I will send you a PM. I do not sell these cards, but I DO know someone that has working cards for Amazon. |
