Default Avoiding dreadful PP currency conversion rates

Here is the deal. I get moneys in GBP. My CC aatached to PP is in Euro. My PP account is LV, thus allowing withdrawals to CC. But when I try to withdraw directly in GBP, it does forced currency exchange to EUR before withdrawal, instead of withdrawing directly in GBPs. How can I withdraw without using their... umm... weird currency exchange rate?

You can ask PP customer service to set you card to GBP currency and then an exchange to EUR won't be forced.
It worked for me.

No, the issue is, that i receive all moneys in GBP (as I sell on .co.uk) into my PP, but PP won't allow me to withdraw directly in GBP, only in EUR, thus applying their awful exchange ratio. What to do?

You can go to your account settings - and there is a section for Currency held. Close out the currency you do not want to keep.

If I remove everything but Euro, it will make all non-euro payments to be held. And if I click "Accept" next to a held non-euro payment, it will either create corresponding currency, or convert to Euro, again, using a very bad conversion rate.
